Decorative Lines

Rated 5.0 out of 5

When I saw layouts online that added some unique decorative lines, I wondered how they do it! When I discovered Lea France offered this class, and I jumped on the opportunity to purchase it. You learn different techniques to enhance your pages, what pens are recommended, and the best part is you own it. You can rewatch at anytime.

Loved this class in showing how simple lines used in different ways can finish a page and give it that touch it needed. I go back to this class as reference.

Think pens are just for journaling? Think again! Simple lines, fancy lines, thick lines and thin–just a couple of lines can make your whole layout sing!!

The first part of the class walks through several different lines and patterns using different pens giving lots of practice examples. The explanation is clear for a beginner and the pattern ideas would add to an experienced pen and ink user repertoire. The instruction pace allows the student to work along with the teacher, giving the student the ability look at each step and check it against the model. The second video concentrates on line placement. This is invaluable as placement makes the page. The instructor explains which direction the line should go, how to draw the eye to the picture and what pattern will work on a page.
